Sample deliverable · illustrative only

What an opportunity brief can look like.

A document-heavy onboarding workflow, examined before choosing the technology.

This sample demonstrates our approach. It is not a client case study, a deployed system, or a claim of achieved results.

01 / THE QUESTION

Where does work get stuck?

Requests arrive by email. A coordinator copies information, follows up on missing documents, and creates a project record. Discovery establishes the real steps, exceptions, owner, and baseline.

02 / THE DESIGN

Make the handoffs explicit.

Validate required information, extract candidate fields where AI is useful, route ambiguity to a human, and update the system only after agreed checks. Preserve a manual fallback.

03 / THE DECISION

Test before committing.

Evaluate complete, incomplete, duplicate, and failed-integration cases. Agree quality thresholds, costs, operating ownership, and acceptance criteria before a build.

See an illustrative capacity calculation

Assume 200 requests per month at 20 minutes of active handling each: 66.7 hours. A planning assumption of 12 minutes per request gives 40 hours, a difference of approximately 26.7 hours per month.

These are invented assumptions, not measured results or a forecast. Validate them in a pilot, account for review and exceptions, and include implementation and operating costs. Released capacity is not automatically cash saved.

The assessment output is a current-state map, prioritized opportunities, feasibility and risk notes, cost and benefit assumptions, and a recommended next decision. The answer may be to build, simplify, gather more evidence, or stop.
